CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, LA UNION – Maria Cristine Cassandra Niño Ralbovsky, “Cass” as her family and friends call her, never expected to be a full pledged beauty queen when she was crowned Miss City of San Fernando 2014.
The pageant highlighted of the 16th Cityhood Foundation Anniversary of San Fernando on March 20, 2014 at the City Plaza Auditorium, City of San Fernando, La Union.Standing 5’feet 4 inches tall, this Filipina-Polish stunner from Barangay San Francisco was born on February 9, 1995 from parents Ernesto Pantangco and Shiela Marie Ralbovsky.
Graduated from MBC Lily of the Valley in elementary, Lorma Colleges Special Science (San Juan Campus) in High School and is now currently at the end of her 3rd year taking up Bachelor of Arts and Communications Minor in Speech and Major in Broadcasting at the University of the Philippines Baguio City plans to become a newscaster someday.
“I did not expect that I will win this pageant because I feel inferior with my height,” Ralbovsky said during an interview. “But it has always been my attitude to do and perform the best of my ability. I owe this to my family and friends who have always been there to support me,” she added.
When asked about her plans, “I feel and believe that I will be having numerous responsibilities being the new Miss City of San Fernando, but I’d rather focus on being an advocate for Health and Wellness believing in the city’s vision.”
“The reason why I joined is because I wanted to gain experience, I want to increase my networks (laughing), I mean my skills in interacting with other people, because I need that in my course,” she said.
Her hobbies include singing, dancing, cheerleading and reading books during her free time.
Ralbovsky will represent the City of San Fernando for the Mutia ti La Union 2015 competing with other representatives from the 19 towns of the province.
